(A) Members of Umuaka Welfare and Development Association are (old) Umuaka indigenes and people related to Umuaka that reside in the UK.

(Q) How can Umuaka Welfare and Development Association be of Help to Umuaka people in Akahland (at home)?

(A) Umuaka Welfare and Development Association UK has as it foremost objective to assist in the development of Akah people and consequently Akahland. This could be noticed in most of her projects. Read more in her mission statement.

(Q) Is Umuaka Welfare and Development Association member of Akah Global Union that is functioning from USA?

(A) Officially NO. But implicitely she is a member of Umuaka Global forum hence she is an organisation of Umuaka indigenes operating outside Nigeria.

(Q) As various autonomous community have been created from the old Umuaka, which consequently could cause the name Umuaka or the idea of Umuaka Ebe-iri to go into extinction. What impact could this have on Umuaka Welfare and Development Association UK? Will She still in the future remains as Old Umuaka or will the members regroup to their respective autonomous communities?

(A) Umuaka Welfare and Development Association was formed with the spirit of One-Akah-in-Ten, that is, Akah ebe-iri. She is aware of the impact of the autonomy politics in Akahland, but it has no influence in her activities in the UK. She projects the spirit of one Umuaka (akah ebe-iri) and will still remain one Umuaka in the future.

(A) She is an association formed out of the Love we have for our fatherland (Akahland) on a foundation of truth and that in unity we will stand strongly to withstand the struggles and pressure that people experience when they live outside their homeland.
