There are two banks in Umuaka: the United Bank of Africa (UBA) Plc and the Umuaka Community Bank Ltd. These banks offer macro and Micro lending scheme and other financial services to the communities.

The presence of this banks in the community enhanced the business atmosphere of the vibrant Akahland. As a result of this, more business Enterprises are establishing branches in Akahland. This includes Small and Medium Enterprise and also multinational such as Chevron Oil.

However, as the present growth trends continue in Akahland, more banks will be establish in the community to facilitate and to benefit from the rapid business development in Akahland.
